This is an illustration of my grandparents' home in Sunnyside, Queens, reimagined as the snacks I grew up with. Outside is the garden where my Ngin Ngin (paternal grandmother in Toisan) grows the vegetables we eat throughout the Summer and Fall months. It's always exciting when a vegetable is ready to pick off the vine knowing it was grown with love.
