From the Artist:
My sister and I used to play with shadow animals during blackouts in Vietnam. We did not have video games or phones back in the day, so we had to be creative to pass the time while waiting for the electricity to come back. We found so many ways to play in the dim lights of the oil lamps and candles. I'm still fond of these memories of a simpler time.
