From the Artist:
Pokemon Red was the hot topic among my friends when I was growing up. I remember spending hours traversing pixelated monochrome grass on the tiny screen of my red Pocket Gameboy looking for Growlithe because I really wanted an Arcanine. It’s been difficult to play games ever since having child of my own, but the joy of Pokemon has returned now that my son is old enough to understand what Pokemon are. I can see the same joy in his eyes that I used to have when he catches a Pikachu – only now it’s in high definition. Even though it might be Game Over for my gaming days, it’s only just begun for my little one.
